Despite (generally) lack of space, this model has sneaked onto my list to supplement my ship collection.

The construction is going a bit slow because every day I take only 1-2 phases with my son in the attack. Definitely one of the top models who are totally fun and in their love of detail, a majority of the other in the shade. In that case, in my view, they have surpassed all other ships and even the Sea Cow, especially the scorpionfish at the bow are great, despite bananas as eyebrows

Review LEPIN 06057 - Final Fight Destiny's Bounty

When attaching the garage doors or the roof, they seem to have made nonsense, at least the curvature of the enclosed skeletal arms is too low, which is why I once took the sleeves of the blue technology parts to be able to take decent pictures.

The fabric part on the monk does not fit exactly and as far as I’ve seen, they have deviated only three times from the original plan, in one case, the suspension is a bit stupid, but well.

Delivery / Packing:
Everything was delivered well packed in a relatively small package. As with Lego, all parts were divided into tens of small plastic bags, except for the two columns/masts.

Manual:
I got along great with the instructions. The images are a bit denser than Lego and the graphics are missing for the scale of axis lengths, but it was not a problem. Colors were also perfect to identify, only red looked more orange.
Although there are numbered sections, the numbers do not match the bags, or the bags are not numbered. I could not recognize any system in the bags, be it by color, size of component type or construction phase.

Lepin Bricks vs. Lego Bricks:
Since this is my first set of Lepin, I want to replace my Lego parts in the old gray color scheme and also want to mix Lego with Lepin,
The passport and color quality was especially important to me.

Concerning. I did not notice any differences in color, especially in light and dark bluish gray.
Dimensions, gaps, and accuracy of fit are also 99% identical. Plates and stones are tight, as are engineering pins.
Only with the technology axles, it fluctuated – depending on the size – between very firm and somewhat too loose.
The stability is great, as well as scratch resistance. Only if one builds offset plates, these are minimally inclined to bend.

Lego Reviews was also able to read that partially clear clearances are present in the mirrored composite halves, especially well above and below the front of the engine. Seems to be design-related here.

The surface quality was on the whole very good. Some parts were not quite as shiny, with larger plates was here and sometimes a scratch, but not deep. Here and there you could see impressions of the injection molds.

The two upper plates are Lego, the two lower Lepin:

Review LEPIN 05045 UCS B-Wing Fighter

In 3 parts there were probably mistakes in the injection:

Review LEPIN 05045 UCS B-Wing Fighter

Assembly:
Everything like Lego, no problems and no mistakes in the manual. In the end, many pleasant parts remained.
The missing parts were those with the manufacturing defect.

Finished model / Conclusion:
That the models / Bricks of Lepin knows God cannot be bad, I have indeed taken the forum here. But that they are so good and almost perfect on the original I would not have thought. There is not much to say about the B-Wing Fighter itself. Except for the bruised cockpit, he is for me one of the most beautiful UCS Star Wars models.

First impression:

All the stones were packed in a bag. But that is not a broken leg in the few parts.
At first glance, they looked amazingly beautiful.
The only thing that was noticeable was that the stones sound a bit different when they fall on the table. Somehow, they seem to be easier. Here and there were some scratches on the stones.
The stickers were quite thick compared to the originals.

Assembly & Instructions:

As the kit arrived in a bubble wrap, the instructions were a bit crumpled.
The construction was very easy by the hand.
All stones could be blocked very well.

Characters:

The figures were disassembled into individual parts. On the whole, you can not complain.
The characters look good and the pressure is very good.

Quality; missing & damaged parts:

Fortunately, there were no shortcomings, everything was there! No damaged parts, apart from the scratches and the slightly cloudy cockpit screen. Unfortunately, the launchers are virtually non-functional.
As already mentioned, the parts could be blocked very well.
Since I built the Jedi Interceptor after the MF, I even have to say that the parts of the Jedi Interceptor could be better blocked than those of the MF. But maybe that’s just because of the different parts and the big difference in size.

Conclusion:

All in all a nice model. The kit worked well together. Everything’s fine … I’m very satisfied.

Surely you could have bought the Jedi Interceptor also in the original. My first concern was the first experience with LEPIN. So I wanted to test a little model.

Review LEPIN 16014 Space Shuttle Expedition – Compatible with LEGO 10231 (Retired)

ORIGINAL INFORMATION

  • No.: 16014
  • Listing Date: 2018

Why did I buy this set?
Of course, this set is also a set for people with space problems!

On a relatively small base plate, you get this relatively pretty part set up. In addition, that is sometimes a set with a relatively high degree of popularity. The x-spaceship from the Star Wars series does not make any impression on non-Lego-affine friends and acquaintances (yes, should it exist), but a Space Shuttle knows them all …

First impression:
Unpacked and first looked at relatively surprised!

Especially the large parts have a really nice surface on which I could not immediately discover any major quirks or scratches.

Since I’ve seen quite different sets … I have partially after I had touched the large parts with my fat fingers, the stones with a cloth wiped again!

Of course, I can not say if all sets are like my set, but here the quality of the stones is really great!
I then sorted all parts and distributed them on 3 sorting boxes and a tray.

Construction:

The setup went very fast from the hand, otherwise, I’m not really the speed-builder, but here you could almost see how the space shuttle grows. After my black phase (Tower of Orthanc & Tumbler) then WHITE stones are also a welcome change.

Of course, a good pre-sorting also helped …

I did not stop building time! The whole part is relatively simple, the manual really good and the few technical parts, such as suspension, have been installed quickly.

Something tricky the flaps have been from the shuttle, the stability is not soooo awesome and when opening and closing the flaps you have to see if all parts stay in place.

In the instructions, there is also at step 48 a kg. Error, there is 2 x kg. half bows indicated, but def. be big bows. These are also available, so no problem.

The construction of an external fuel tank and the two booster rockets were then, thanks to large parts, very fast.

The landing platform and the satellite (hidden in the shuttle) was then only a finger exercise at the end.

The finished set:

There’s the thing!

End the part is then on the launch pad! The spotlights would have to be replaced by real lights and then a bit more smoke and then you have Cape Canaveral for home! The countdown has started! As I said, on a relatively small footprint a relatively large set! The minifigures do the rest, very good quality!

Basic quality, errors, missing parts:
The quality of the stones from this set needs def. not to hide behind the original on Denmark. Basically good clamping force, no defective parts, no missing parts!

But I have one problem: the stickers! Unfortunately, the leaflet with the stickers did not make it to me unscathed. Unfortunately, the thing was kinked a couple of times and 2–3 stickers have come off. Therefore, I have not attached any stickers on the finished set. I’ll take a look at that again, maybe I’ll leave it that way too, I like it quite well even without a sticker!

I have about 30 small parts about … I’ll check again if I have not forgotten something …

Conclusion:
A very nice set, not only to put it on the shelf, as a playset, the thing sure makes a slim foot!

Of course, the set is not the most sophisticated set, by construction, but it was fun and that’s what matters in the end. I’ll give you 8 out of 10 points. There is a slight point deduction for the flaps to the load compartment, also there I have to look again on occasion if I can possibly change something there. Basically, I give for this set a clear buy recommendation. Anyone who has something to do with space travel does not always want to have only Star Wars and also has space problems: STRIKE!

✔Brand Name: LEPIN

First impression:

The package arrived and thanks to much too much free time, I was able to start building directly at 10 o’clock in the morning. Before, I first had to get the enormous amount of stones from the package.

At first everything looked very chaotic, but in the end the LEPIN system is well thought-out in terms of packing the stones: a total of about 25 bags, in each bag the stones were sorted according to type, size and color. The figures and stickers were extra packed again.
An unpleasant or chemical odor, as one would expect it from plagiarism from the Far East, I could not determine. So no complaints.
The instructions were a bit rolled, but no problem here.

Review LEPIN 05028 Super Star Destroyer – Compatible with LEGO 10221

Assembly:

After 5 minutes of construction, I totally forgot that I’m currently “just” building LEPIN. The stones have an excellent fit. Thanks to LEPIN’s good presorting, I was able to build very quickly and did not even have to search for a stone. I could always access directly and pack the right part. To build such a huge model in a hurry is very exhausting. After about 11 hours the model was ready. Back and headaches were unfortunately also there
From the degree of difficulty, the SSD is okay to build, only the two giant plates at the very end were a bit fumbling to fix and the tail of the ship I had to improve, because it was somewhat unstable due to the design. 6 leftover stones and everything keeps bombproof

Instructions & Figures:

The instructions unfortunately have the well-known “dark gray or rather black?” – Problem. Sometimes you could not tell the difference and had to try a little.
Ultimately, it does not matter, because you do not see the corresponding stones with possible likelihood of confusion in the end anyway.

Amazingly, the figures are better than I thought. Sure, Bossk has too light hands, Vader’s helmet is too tight and Bossk’s eyes are not 100% correctly printed. But in all, the characters are anything but garbage. Someone inexperienced would not see any difference to the Danish original.

Review LEPIN 05028 Super Star Destroyer – Compatible with LEGO 10221

The finished model:

1.25m long, very heavy, hardly any space to put the SSD in any reasonable way. That’s the way it has to be. You can see the difference to the original Danish model really only when you look closely, if you realize that no 4 letters are on the knobs. Otherwise, a perfect 1: 1 copy. The colors, the stone quality, everything is almost at the Danish level.
The SSD is a real beast and eye-catcher for every room.

Review LEPIN 05028 Super Star Destroyer – Compatible with LEGO 10221

Quality; missing & damaged parts:

All 150 stones! 150! So many were missing? No, so many were extra in the box Not a single miss, instead 20 pieces 2×4 tiles in light bluish gray too much, which is extremely convenient. In addition, gray plates, slants and and and.

Only 5 small stones were damaged. 2 of the black pins had slight deformations, yet fitted well. 1 part had scratches and 2 small parts inside the ship have crooked nubs. So 5 deficient stones with a total number of well over 3000 stones. You cant complain.

Neutral: The display stand is logically named STAR WRNS. That was clear from the beginning and of course it does not look very nice
So I ordered a new sticker for 3 euros with the correct spelling, problem solved.
